Insurance Requirements for the State of Connecticut

In the State of Connecticut also known as The Constitution State has no specific state requirements for business insurance for licensed cannabis dispensary, cultivation, or manufacturing facilities.  This was based on a search of CHAPTER 420h REGULATION OF ADULT-USE CANNABIS.

You should not certain cities might have insurance requirements.  If you are a landlord who owns a building with a cannabis tenant you must not only consider weather related events, but damage to the building if there is a theft.

Connecticut, like many other states, can experience various types of weather-related claims due to its diverse climate. Some common weather-related claims in Connecticut may include:

Is there a cannabis surety bond required in the State of Connecticut.

A search of CHAPTER 420h REGULATION OF ADULT-USE CANNABIS did not result in any bond requirements in Conneticut.  However, a bond is required for medical marijuana producer according to the Deparment of Consumer Protection.
